I LOVE the Mini Cooper. I’m still trying to convince my husband that we need a second car and that it should be the one we get. He’s not convinced though.

Did we ever talk about the Mini Cooper that Charlize Theron drove in The Italian Job? I loved Mini Coopers before that. Mini is one of the sponsers of Josh’s SCCA region. A lot of people race them in his region. I’ve always wanted one. And then we heard that the Mini from Italian Job was auctioned off for $3000. I nearly cried. I would have sooo paid that.

I totally looked at Mini Coopers when I bought my last car. While I would have LOVED to have one, I just couldn’t bring myself to believe it was practical enough. Ended up with Jeep Liberty instead

However, my daughter gets the Jeep when she goes to college (she’s a freshman now) so I think it’s MINI time then!

I can’t drive yet, and therefore have no interest in cars.

Unless it comes with a chauffeur.

I’m so not a car person. I drive a station wagon, and love it.
Well it is black, and German, and has a big ole engine that goes reaallly fast But a sports car it is not!

Can’t see that Mini maneuvering your winter weather well, Mel But it’s pretty.

I once had a ‘68 Camaro, 3 speed, 327. I won’t even tell you the paltry sum I sold that baby for. Ah, youth and stupidity.

I’m really sucky about cars. I look at them and see what I like, but when asked what it is I can’t tell.

I like the 67 SS RS Camaro and I love the new Hummers. My dream is to own a brand new Hummer. Yeah, not likely. I don’t have a spare $80,000 or whatever they cost. So, I’ll just go on pretending my Kia Sedona minivan is a beautiful thing.

Ooooh, NICE cars! I’ll take one of each, thanks. I love cars and can happily spend hours at the Auto-Technik museum here, or at the Henry Ford museum when we lived in Michigan.

Great list! For my first car, I really wanted a classic Mustang, but my parents bought me a 1964 Mercury Comet instead. ;)

I’m not really big into cars though I’m forced to go to car shows a few times every summer. Not the kind where they show off new cards, but the classic car kind that are held at parks and parking lots. My step-father rebuilds cars and wins trophies for the work he does. My mom needs company at these things so I go along and pretend that I know the difference or care about the cars.

    1, 3, 8, 9, and 12 I’ll agree with.

And I wanted a Mini Cooper long before Charlize jacked the price up on them.

But the best car EVAH is of course the 1967 Ford Mustang I6 coupe.

I’m SUCH a car ignoramus. I know what a mini Cooper looks like, and Porsches…but that’s about it.

Thanks for coming by my TT!

Melani you have great taste in cars.

Now I just gotta ask, are you going to write a sequel to Trophy Girl or if not how about another racing book?
